Arguably the easiest satellites to pick up signals are the NOAA 15/18/19 satellites, which are weather satellites that transmit images of cloud cover over the ground. By “easiest” I mean requiring the least amount of additional equipment: it only requires a rabbit-ear (V-dipole) antenna connected to your SDR, and a cloud-free day to get a good signal.
